Amentum is seeking an Executive Program Management Support Specialist to support our Naval customers at NSWC Dahlgren and Fredericksburg. You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel. The ability to take direction and operate independently, as well as participate in team environments, is necessary for this support effort. On site support at least 3 days a week in Fredericksburg, VA or Dahlgren, VA is required. Other support may be remote support, depending on schedule management and customer needs.

We are looking for professionals to join our US Navy and Marine Corps advanced technology development team. We are in search of an experienced technical mind, with organizational skills to support an exective manager, 5 years or more experience helping manager projects to support the Program Manager in managing a large team of software engineers. The large team optimizes and builds updated code fixes for speed and efficiency in an R&D setting for elite Naval technology and weapons systems.

The Executive Program Management Support Specialist responsibilities include:
-Prepare and upload Technical Effort weekly inputs
-Run reports weekly for hours.
-New hire paperwork that includes Computer User Account Request Forms, Manager's New Hire Checklist, Setup in TETT, submit IT ticket - Prepare and upload technical effort weekly inputs
- Work with contracting, finance, program management, operations management, ISSM, security and engineers to develop innovative solutions to meet contract service support requirements.
- Ability to assist in preparation, review and approval of new hire paperwork including Computer User Account Request Forms, Managers New Hire Checklist, set up in varied company database systems
- Assist in preparation, review and editing monthly government reports to the customer
- Support monthly corporate program management reviews
- Support personnel management with both human and process touchpoints that enable retention, recruiting, timecards, on-boarding, interviewing, growth and sense of job-satisfaction/well-being for relatively young team of engineers who work in 5 disparate locations in the Dahlgren/Fredericksburg area
- Ability to manage multiple projects and self-manage deadlines and priorities
- Willingness to travel to Dahlgren, VA or Fredericksburg, VA on short notice if personnel or security issues pop up unexpectedly/develop action plan to cover gaps, resources, needs quickly and effectively

Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active SECRET clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
- Comprehensive knowledge in definition and management of software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation.
- Supervises personnel that plan, perform, and lead software design, coding, and testing.
- Must be proficient in a Windows e-mail and operating environment and with MS applications including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Preferred Experience:
- IT Level 2 certification or ability to obtain it within 3 months of start desired but not required
