Career Opportunity
The Lewisburg location is seeking a Corrugating Operator who is responsible for inspecting, marking, and transfer of corrugated sheets to the sheet line or converting areas.
How you will impact WestRock
- Perform quality checks and analyze the necessary movement of the material.
- Ensure material flow is constant and efficient.
- Perform basic math skills
- Use of a calculator and tape measure is vital.
- Responsible for the operation of the corrugating equipment
- Performs other job duties as assigned
What you need to succeed .
- High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, average and use a calculator.
- Must be able to add and subtract fractions.
- Must be able to read a tape ruler measuring in 16th of an inch.
- The technician must be familiar with operation of the rotary shear knife, anti-skid applicator, slitter/scorer, and cutoff knife.
- A strong commitment to working safe.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
