RESPONSIBILITIES

Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Formulation Manager at our Canton, OH Location.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:
- Formulation - Update chemistry control and manage statistical databases
- Provide formulation aims for future Melts
- Manage raw material flow and consumption
- Support operations in Melt and Turnings Scheduling
- Send samples to NSL, track results
- Walk production floor; hands-on with operations
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry or mathematics or equivalent degree
- Visual Basic Programming - moderate level
- At least 5 years of experience in chemistry control
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Plant production experience strongly preferred
- Experience in SAP preferred
