Portfolio Executive - Pharmacy Distribution - Military Veterans

Summary:

In this role, you will manage a market-leading portfolio of distribution service agreements. You will provide oversight and management of contract pricing and coverage for over 6,000 pharmaceutical products. You will interact heavily with providers to support ongoing unique custom sourcing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key pharmaceutical sourcing processes including opportunity identification, strategy formulation, contract development, negotiation, documentation, and implementation.
  • Monitor contract performance for market competitiveness and supplier compliance to terms and conditions, acting as a contracting agent to assist providers with unique custom enhancements.
  • Conduct RFP bid analysis, award, and manage contracts to comply with Vizient contract processes and standards.
  • Conduct product price monitoring and contract maintenance to assure market relevance.
  • Interpret financial analysis and market dynamics to formulate contract strategy recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships, serving as a subject-matter expert resource for providers and colleagues.
  • Communicate successes, opportunities and challenges to colleagues and provider stakeholders.
  • Create resources to assist in contract implementation and education.
  • Provide direction and guidance to assigned portfolio analyst.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience working in healthcare contracting required.
  • Experience with national and custom healthcare or pharmacy contracts highly preferred.
  • Experience with project management, relationship building, conflict resolution, and strategic partnership building preferred.
  • Ability to understand and conduct financial analysis and quantitative / qualitative assessment of data is desired (or preferred, your choice).
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional interaction skills, including presentation, verbal, and documentation.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:
$88,900.00 - $132,250.00
