The Opportunity

We are seeking a Lateral Attorney Recruiting Assistant to join our Firm. In this position, you will be responsible for providing support to the Global Lateral Attorney Recruiting Manager and assisting with all aspects of lateral recruiting. This position will be based in our New York office and has a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule. Please note that the Firm will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

  • Enters, distributes and updates lateral candidate interview schedules.
  • Creates Webex appointments for lateral candidate interviews.
  • Coordinates lateral candidate availability with Search Firm recruiters.
  • Runs utilization reports upon request (Firmwide).
  • Maintains lateral candidate tracking charts.
  • Assists with updating lateral statistics.
  • Maintains Search Firm contact list and tracks Search Firm agreements.
  • Scans lateral recruiting related documents into internal records management system.
  • Handles due diligence for New York and International lateral hires.
  • Updates website with Firmwide lateral searches.
  • Responsible for lateral candidate data entry into applicant tracking system.
  • Ability to understand and handle basic vendor contracts and articulately discuss the terms.
  • Ability to process expenses in an accurate and thorough manner.
  • Ability to compile and draft statistics.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.

Education/Experience
  • Minimum of six months related experience.

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

Salary Details
$63,000 - $68,000
