Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do In This Role:

* You will support and assist the Sterile Processing Manager in providing operations of the Sterile Processing department.

* You will assists in the Quality Improvement Processing of the department.

* You will perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units.

* You will review sterilization records and prepares reports as assigned.

* You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and assume responsibility for unit operation, in absence of the Manager.

* You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department

What qualifications you will need:

* Certification in Central Processing Required (CRST)

* Graduate of a formal Sterile Processing Technology Program required.

* 1-3 years of Sterile Processing experience is required.
