The Opportunity The Associate Senior Vice President (ASVP) for Alumni Relations will lead strategic efforts to enhance and increase alumni engagement, increase the USCAAs impact, and create stronger connections overall with USC alumni and members of the Trojan Family. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for University Advancement, the ASVP will serve as the senior leader for alumni relations at USC, requiring a deep understanding of USC traditions, culture, and complex organizational structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mission-driven leadership, adept relationship-building and collaboration skills, strategic and critical thinking, a growth mindset, and transparent communication abilities to effectively advance the USCAAs ambitious goals. This position offers a unique opportunity for professionals to contribute to USCs culture of connections, engagement, and philanthropy while furthering their career development within a prestigious academic institution. Key responsibilities include setting a strategic, ambitious and innovative vision to advance and increase connection, engagement, and philanthropy, while aligning with the universitys mission, priorities and values, and advising university leadership on alumni engagement. The ASVP also plays a crucial role in fostering organizational effectiveness by leveraging data-driven insights, providing exemplary leadership and respect to the Alumni Association staff, and maintaining budgetary oversight to align investments with institutional priorities. Ideal candidates will possess a personal connection to USC, a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, cultural competency, inclusive leadership, and senior management experience within a complex organizational structure with an emphasis in areas of marketing, communication, and/or philanthropy. This position offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact by fostering meaningful connections among USC alumni and the larger Trojan Family, contributing to the universitys overarching mission of societal development. Additional Information T he annual base salary range for this position is $3 25,000 $400,000 .
