Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Attend all safety training supplied by employer.
• Primary duties include providing safe and timely mechanical and electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.
• The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity and working knowledge with hydraulics and pneumatics and have solid troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.
• Must be able to work daily and weekend overtime as needed.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses2-3 years of experience for Mechanical, 5-7 years for Electrical related experience or combination of training and experience.

Knowledge and Skills

Mechanical

• Preventive and unscheduled maintenance on motors, conveyors, pneumatic systems and production machinery.
• Respond to floor calls - enter and complete work orders.
• Assemble, install, and repair apparatus and equipment.
• Perform Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Electrical

• Diagnose and repair electrical controls, industrial motor control centers and programmable logic controllers.
• Install, monitor and maintain various types of motors, drives, PLC's, lighting fixtures, , circuit breakers and transformers.
• Demonstrates ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.
• Install, repair and replace and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to team members.
• Performs inspections of electrical components and distribution controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM's) on all systems, mechanical or electrical mechanical.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
