House Counsel Paralegal - Military Veterans

Chubb's White Plains, N.Y. House Counsel law firm, Varvaro, Cotter & Bender is currently seeking candidates for a Paralegal I position.

The Paralegal I position provides high level support to assigned attorneys.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses
  • Gather, organize and summarize medical records
  • Set up IMEs; assist in trial preparation;
  • Effectively communicate with clients, insurers, counsel, court personnel and others.


The candidate must have
  • Five years litigation experience as a paralegal/legal assistant
  • Advanced knowledge of New York personal injury litigation,
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
The pay range for the role is $54,000 to $86,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website . The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
