University of California Irvine Clinical Pharmacy Faculty in Ambulatory Care (Open Rank) The School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of California, Irvine, is seeking outstanding applicants for an open rank faculty position in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice within the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice. The School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences is one of the five units under the Susan and Henry Samueli College of Health Sciences. The college is part of the integrated UC Irvine Health system that also encompasses UCI's clinics and Orange County's only academic medical center. Candidates at all ranks with high proficiency in Spanish will be considered. A successful candidate will be expected to teach both students and residents at the didactic and experiential levels and will engage in scholarly activities. The candidate will also play an integral role as a clinician educator and practitioner, working within an interdisciplinary primary care team, and providing pharmaceutical care, which include but are not limited to comprehensive medication management services, chronic disease management and prevention, and pharmacy innovation for medically underserved patients at UCI Health Family Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Santa Ana and Anaheim. This position will report to the Chair of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice. Review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled.
