Director - Digital Solutions & Innovation (Job Number: 2305063 )

Position Summary

To develop opportunities for Penske to deliver digital Connected Fleet solutions for our customers that provides customer value and differentiation. This position will manage several product teams made up of a Product Manager, UX Designer and developers. The product teams will each develop a product roadmap and strategy and will work simultaneously to deliver the Connected Fleet tools to our customers.

Major Responsibilities

+ Develop a Connected Fleet product roadmap through research (customer, market, and Penske business) that provides value to both the customer and business.

+ Oversee the Connected Fleet product teams (Product Manager, Designer, and developers) their product strategy, development, and product launch.

+ Work with the business functions, Sr Leadership, Connected Fleet data team and IT to prioritize tool development and delivery.

+ Manage the lifecycle of Connected Fleet customer tools to ensure Penske’s products remain current and functioning according to expectation.

+ Support the Product Managers by working across functions to ensure that business processes are in place and that data is available to support the products.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree Required in Technology or Marketing.

+ MBA preferred.

+ 10 Experience in delivering Interactive / digital solutions. Business acumen, Marketing and a foundation in IT is required.

+ At least 5 years working with and delivering on digital product strategy.

+ Advanced knowledge of the Product management function.

+ Advanced knowledge and experience in the user centric design process.

+ Intermediate knowledge of IT development process.

+ Excellent communication skills – Can communicate with programmers and Sr. Mgt

+ Ability to collaborate within the product teams and across department functions.

+ Can develop teams so that they fully embrace product management and have the skills to produce superior products.

+ Ability to quickly learn new technical areas and processes.

+ Ability to develop a vision for products and take full ownership of the developed products.
