Job Description:

Vice President Army Account Executive

Position Overview:

Parsons is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our Defense and Intelligence (D&I) team. We are looking for an Account Executive to be the leading force in growing client relationships and business in our Army market.  As the Account Executive you will develop and lead our account and business strategies designed to expand Parsons’ presence in key Army organizations. The successful candidate will provide strategic account direction, establish, and maintain client relationships in support of new and existing sales, and identify opportunities that position Parsons across its business Sectors to expand presence in the Army and achieve overall business plan growth goals. You will engage in senior level discussions both internal to the company, across industry, and within the customer space.

Location:  Aberdeen Proving Ground Area or National Capital Region (NCR)

Requirements:

  • 15+ years diversified experience in Business Development and/or Customer Account leadership.

  • Established industry and government relationships and understanding of the Army competitive landscape and acquisition processes for at least 2 of the following:

    • PEO Missiles and Space (M&S)

    • PEO Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S)

    • PEO Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (C3T)

    • Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM)

  • Relationship builder who creates strategic alliances with organization leaders to align Parson’s capabilities, experience, investments, and resources.

  • Proven track record to build and successfully execute adjacent and new market entry strategies that have led to large awards (i.e., $100M or greater)

  • Capable of developing comprehensive client account strategies to produce winning results.

  • Understanding of current market trends and differentiated solutions in this space.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

  • Must be willing and able to travel, as required, 10-20%. 

  • TS clearance with eligibility for SCI

Desired Candidate Traits:

  • Domain knowledge in one or more of the following domains: land-based command and control applications, hardware platform integration (sensors, weapons, C2), space payload integration and development, Space C2Ops, offensive and defensive cyber, SE&I services including MBSE.

  • Persistent problem solver with a tenacious drive to Win.

  • Demonstrates ability to influence, inspire trust and establish & sustain credibility.

  • Able to develop budgets and manage pursuit and bid dollars effectively.

  • Understanding of competitors’ capabilities and ability to devises plans to position the company to be successful in pursuits aligned with our capabilities.

  • Ability to act as a Parsons ambassador to support participation in applicable conferences, exhibits and industry engagements to promote Parsons’ capabilities.

Salary Range: 

$175,100.00 - $334,800.00

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
