ManTech is seeking a Digital Radio Management System (DRMS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support operations and engineering in the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) at Navy Surface Warfare Center - Corona Division location in Norfolk-Virginia Beach, VA. Candidates require experience with DRMS as a government civilian, contractor, or military (Navy IT/ET ratings).
Candidates are required to submit a cover letter with a short summary of their experience with DRMS and location(s) where experience was obtained. Applications without a cover letter and summary of experience will not be forwarded for consideration.
Position Requirements:
- Established technical proficiency in external RF communications, RF Management, Operations and Troubleshooting, spectrum/frequency management, Communications Planning
- Experienced with DRMS or Live DRMS (LDRMS) required to provide expanded capacity, improved reliability, and increased RF spectrum to live voice communications
- Experienced in communications system enabling realistic tactical communications across all warfare areas, classification levels, and releasable domains
- Experienced in Navy and Joint Digital Modular Radios (DMR) and support to DRMS Wholeness
- Experienced in Spectrum Management, expeditionary communications, and Joint communications desired
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma
- Certified in Network+ and Security+ (or equivalent) to be part of the Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF).
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Maintains an active DoD SECRET security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Position Self to move
- Stationary 50% or more of the time
- Occasionally move around the office
