Job Summary:
Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare is seeking a Core Faculty IM to join our 45 - resident program in El Paso, TX.Qualified Candidates:
- MD/DO degree
- Will consider new graduates
- Texas licensure or ability to obtain
- DEA with full prescriptive authority
- ABIM, AOBIM, ABFM, or AOBFP board certified
- Responsible for the care of the patients in their practices through management of a personal panel of patients, the supervision of learners in the care of patients, and the modeling of collaboration and teamwork with staff and other health professionals
- Provide supervision for IM residents in the continuity clinic (Outpatient 85% / Inpatient 15%)
- Inpatient: Can be Family Medicine physician with Focused Practice in Hospital Med
- Outpatient: Can be Family Medicine physician with experience in ambulatory setting
- Current or recent academic experience is preferred, but candidates interested in transitioning from private practice to an academic position are encouraged to apply.
- Prior educational experience in a GME program is preferred
