Position description The Department of Radiology ( http://radiology.ucsd.edu ) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. Due to continued growth in the division of Cardiothoracic Radiology, the Department is seeking faculty radiologists in this subspecialty. Clinical responsibilities will include interpretation of all aspects of thoracic (radiographs, CT and MR) and cardiac imaging (CT and MR). In addition to clinical responsibilities, candidates are expected to teach and educate medical students, residents, and fellows as well as participate in multidisciplinary conferences. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Candidates must also have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. Preferred qualifications Candidates with experience with imaging of congenital heart diseases are preferred.
