We are currently seeking a AWS/Azure Certified Developer to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
NTT DATA is currently seeking a Cloud Developer to join our IRS EDOS team in Washington, DC.
The Cloud Developer design develops, engineers, tests, implements, integrates and support multi and hybrid cloud solutions that are focused on driving business value for our Client. Works closely with clients in all aspects of an engagement to ensure ongoing alignment of solution expectations and reliable achievement of delivery milestones as set forth in well documented project plans. Is involved in all facets of the implementation, rollout, migration, integration, feature release enhancements and testing. May also automate software engineering life-cycle, engineer containers, CI/CD and DevOps Pipeline, configure and troubleshoots public cloud environment. Additional responsibilities are as follows:
- Review requirements and prioritize work accordingly.
- Understand the Cloud design and develop software application implementation approaches that alight with approved IRS strategies andoperation.
- Ensure that the Cloud project execution includes testing and documentation.
- Responsible for incident reporting and response, risk management, and problem escalation.
- Support Cloud business case development/tracking that aligns with IRS ITs priorities.
- Manage and oversee team's assignments.
- Uses Agile principles to reduce risk by developing "Proof of Concepts" and "Rapid Prototyping" when implementing solutions with a large number of unknowns.
- Understands various layers of the solution stack including software development, security principles, workflows and technical infrastructure . Understands how different layers interact with each other.
Must Have's:
- 6 years' experience supporting Federal Government clients.
- 3 yrs direct experience developing applications natively for the Cloud using AWS/Azure.
- 3 yrs experience in Agile software development.
- AWS certifications
- Must be a US Citizen.
