Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a IT Application Administrator for the Office of Information Technology- Enterprise Application Services ( OIT - EAS ). Reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Cloud Services ( FCS ), this position needs to be an excellent communicator, who inspires those around them with their depth of Oracle Cloud financial application(s) functional and technical knowledge. The candidate must be on the forefront of knowledge related to Oracle Cloud financial application(s), and must inspire confidence in the staff. Architect will perform design, architecture and troubleshooting for mission critical Oracle Cloud financial application(s). Among the key duties of this position are the following: Application support and direction to all University users of the Oracle Cloud financial application(s). Acting as a resource to aid in resolving system problems. Assisting in month/year end fiscal closing processes; and supporting training and communication initiatives. Provides timely and professional customer service to end users, within the core business process owner organizations' and to the university-wide financial systems user community. Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technology field, or a Bachelor's degree in a Business major with relevant systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. A minimum of four years progressive experience in technical or techno functional capacity with large ERP systems. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years Oracle Cloud financial application(s) on PPM , Service Contracts, Receivables, General Ledger, SLA and Revenue Accounting. Requires experience in design and implementation of Oracle Cloud financial application(s). Proficiency in Oracle data models within ERP with knowledge of Oracle SQL / PL SQL Strong Techno-Functional expertise in the implemented modules and provide expert advice in solution design. Knowledge of integration between systems using middleware utilizing components such as API / REST /web service. Thorough knowledge of the system components and interfaces being designed or integrated in a cloud SAAS solutions environment. Familiarity with the principles and practices involved in development and maintenance of software solutions and architectures and in service delivery. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; Ability to develop detailed solution design documents. In-depth understanding of the relationship between system configurations and accounting/finance to ensure accurate sub-ledger to General Ledger accounting in higher ed. Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance including knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ( GAAP ) practices. Strong MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills. The ability to work as part of a team, think independently, multi-task, and manage changing priorities. Equipment Utilized: Excellent knowledge of Oracle Cloud fnancial application(s) including but not limited to General. Ledger, Projects, Awards, Expense, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Procurement, Fixed Assets. Inventory and Accounts Receivable. Vast knowledge of Oracle forms such as templates, format, load etc. Advanced Excel skills including but not limited to pivot tables, vlook-up and reference, advance formulas, data merges, etc. Posting Number: 22ST3155
