Job Summary Department-Specific Responsibilities Supports the highly competitive undergraduate program by working closely with high-profile companies with a consultative approach on recruitment strategies to hire Kelley talent. Develops, maintains, and expands employer relationships in several specialized industries. Supports employers and manage hundreds of on-campus interview schedules and recruiting events each semester using a sophisticated technology system. Collaborates and develops a brand strategy with employer partners. Uses discretion to develop personalized recruiting strategies for companies based on their company size, culture, and goals. Conducts employer visits and uses in-depth knowledge of student organizations, student interests, and trends to develop and maintain recruiting relationships with employers. Researches and identifies potential new employers for Kelley based on knowledge and analysis of current industry trends, employer needs, Kelley curriculum, and student interests. Maintains a continuing knowledge of Kelley majors and curriculum with an ability to promote the School and majors to employers recruiting Kelley students. Develops materials, processes and online information for employers and students. Assists with collection and analysis of recruiting and outcome related data (through employer and student surveys) and use that information to make suggestions for future initiatives, programs, and strategies. Collaborates with faculty and colleagues within Kelley, (undergraduate recruiting, career coaches, and advising staff), and on the IUB campus to ensure career success for Kelley students. Responsible for the management of a high touch, high tech recruiting program that embraces the needs of students and employers. As a part of the Kelley School, continue to provide outstanding customer service. General Responsibilities Plans, coordinates, and markets on-campus recruitment events to connect students with potential employers. Manages relationships with employers and alumni through regular communication. Implements large-scale and/or off-campus events and participates in planning, employer relations, student marketing, event execution, and post-event evaluation. Coordinates the logistics and scheduling of information sessions, on-campus interviews, class presentations, and networking events hosted by the career center, featuring alumni and employer representatives. Oversees the online job and internship posting process and makes critical decisions during the review process to ensure all postings adhere to office and campus policies. Develops, interprets, and enforces policies pertinent to third-party recruiting and other employment conditions. Reports and analyzes recruiting data for detailed, annual evaluation; reports trends to manager and makes recommendations for improved operational efficiency. Meets regularly with colleagues to analyze recruitment trends and plan employer relations strategies that enhance existing relationships and identify new opportunities. Qualifications EDUCATION Required Bachelor's degree in business or related field Preferred Master's degree. WORK EXPERIENCE Required 5 years in employer relations, career consulting, or related field Preferred 5 years of experience including recruiting, human resources, management and corporate relations with Fortune 500 companies interacting with senior level executives.
