Basic or Translational Scientist - Research Faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology – Endometrial Cancer #OBG040 | University of Chicago (UC) - Military Veterans

The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in partnership with the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center (UCCCC) is seeking a basic or translational scientist focused on endometrial cancer research. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the role of metabolism and early genetic changes in cancer. The appointment will be at the rank of tenure-track assistant or tenured associate professor. The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the UCCCC bring together world renowned clinicians and scientists who are focused on conquering cancer and related diseases. The appointee will have access to state-of-the-art core facilities and to outstanding colleagues and graduate students affiliated with numerous degree-granting programs within the Biological Sciences Division (BSD). Members of the UCCCC collaborate widely across the BSD, with other Divisions, Schools, and Institutes at the University of Chicago, and with researchers at Argonne National Laboratory and the Marine Biological Laboratory.
