Requisition Number: 2022-297 Business Unit: College of Medicine Department: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation 50000718 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Position Summary: REWARDING ACADEMIC OPPORTUNITY AWAITS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA MEDICAL CENTER The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites highly motivated and innovative Physiatrists to join our faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established program providing services to patients of all ages. Opportunities exist in the following areas: Cancer rehabilitation CARF -accredited inpatient unit and outpatient clinics; consults at our NCI -designated Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Neuro-rehabilitation outpatient clinic and inpatient consultations; EMG ; spasticity management and ultrasound Pediatric rehabilitation fellowship trained pediatric physiatrist to provide inpatient/outpatient clinical care as second physiatrist working at our academic children's hospital. We are proud to partner with Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, Omaha Children's Hospital and Medical Center and the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Candidates should have outstanding interpersonal skills, enthusiasm for patient care, medical student and resident education. Our compensation package is extremely competitive.
