Requisition Number: 2021-356 Business Unit: College of Medicine Department: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation 50000718 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Position Summary: The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center ( UNMC ) invites highly motivated and innovative Physiatrists to join our faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established program providing services to patients of all ages. Opportunities exist in the following areas: Spine a new interdisciplinary clinic with neurosurgical, orthopaedic surgical, anesthesia/pain and PM&R colleagues Neuro-rehabilitation outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations: EMG ; spasticity management and ultrasound Pediatric rehabilitation fellowship trained pediatric physiatrist to provide inpatient/outpatient clinical care as second physiatrist in Department We partner with Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, Children's Hospital and Medical Center and the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. Successful candidates must be MD/DO, BC/BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with outstanding interpersonal skills, enthusiasm for patient care, medical student and resident education.
