Accountant (Hybrid)
Location: Pasadena, CA

Job Description:
We are looking for someone who is well diverse, ready to put their experiences to work, and ready to make a difference. Someone who understands project accounting, knows the nature of assets and liabilities as well as the income statements accounts. Who is dependable and flexible with excellent analytical and excel skill, understand the full cycle of accounting processes, understand the important of monthly closing and financial reporting deadlines, as well as understand audit procedure and Sarbene-Oxley compliance. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Manage general ledger, accounting closing cycle, and monthly closing entries
Prepare, process and post monthly journal entries
Complete intercompany confirmation and prepaid amortization schedules
Complete, record and balance intercompany cost transactions between entities
Complete monthly detailed analysis of account reconciliation
Research and analyze the effects of transactions on account relationships
Learn, develop and recommend revisions to accounting systems and procedures in conformance with GAAP
Prepare monthly reporting schedules and accounts analysis
Assist and analyze monthly GAAP consolidated financial statements; generate and analyze nonstandard financial reports
Create and maintain standard operating procedures
Perform ad-hoc assignments and other responsibilities associated with this position as deemed appropriate
Will be required to work in the office as needed when requested by management.
Qualifications/Desired Characteristics
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
Minimum 2+ years of related work experience
Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles
Experience with ERP (Enterprise resource planning) financial system is desired
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail and highly analytical
Strong sense of ownership
Self-directed, and able to work well independently and collaboratively in a team
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
