The Laconia Police Department is a professional organization that prides itself in delivering the highest level of service possible. The Laconia Police Department is a progressive, community-oriented agency with over 50 employees. Many people refer to community-oriented policing as a strategy or tactic. We believe community policing is much more than that - it's a total philosophy. We are committed to adopting a problem-solving model of policing in which we address the root cause of problems rather than implementing only a quick fix.
