Quality Control Technician - Military Veterans

Performs Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS). The QMS provides the governing processes and controls for our personnel to successfully execute the diverse and complex scope of the MBOS1 work requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare, manage, and implement the MBOS1 Quality Management System (QMS) and inspect work for quality workmanship and consistency with task requirements.
Essential Functions :
• Accurate documentation of work processes, procedures, and output measures
• A systematic procedure for assessing compliance with performance objectives and standards
• Accurate documentation of quality inspections conducted throughout the execution of work
• Assessment-driven corrective actions and process adjustments in a timely manner
- Document any non-conformance or corrective action that has occurred and follow through to end results
- Assist with the development of audit schedules and checklist
- Perform routine Quality audits on MBOS1 work and processes
- Perform final system walk downs for completion and generate punch list as needed.
- Maintain the Quality Inspection and Surveillance Report.
- Prepare and submit the Quality Inspection and Surveillance Report as required. This report shall include the summary and results of the quality inspection and surveillance events performed and assessment-driven corrective actions and process adjustments during the previous month.
- Communicate with Navy Contract Monitors on a regular basis to understand and discuss concerns and issues associated with performance of contract.

- Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary . Must have flexibility of work days to cover weekends if required.
