Field Service Technician - Military Veterans

Job Summary:
Provides product installation, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance (repairs) services on medical and industrial equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Provides multi-step troubleshooting support on assigned service calls.
- Participates in the creation of technical bulletins and service procedures.
- Actively involved in continuous improvement.
- Participates in technical support via phone and teleconference.
- Assist in parts shipments as needed.
- Ability to call and coordinate PM and arrange your own travel.
- Maintain accurate expense records.
Required Technical Competencies Specific Required skills/knowledge:
- Ability to troubleshoot to the FRU level
- Experience servicing electro-mechanical products
- Experience with servicing products with complicated wiring harnesses and sensitive electronic components.
- Familiar with the use of common service tools including vacuum/pressure meter, frequency counter, and digital multimeter.
Secondary skills/knowledge:
- Experience with optical product a plus
- Command line and PowerShell, Active Directory/LDAP and SQL a plus.
- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac a plus
