Mechanical Technician - Military Veterans

An industry leader in agricultural and mechanical equipment that provides top-quality service and repair for equipment rentals is looking to add Mechanical Technicians to their rapidly growing organization. They are currently seeking motivated and skilled Field Service and Shop Mechanics to join the team. As a Mechanic you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment malfunctions and failures. You will rebuild, repair, and maintain equipment and components, ensuring they are operating at their highest performance. Your mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills will enable you to provide accurate repairs and exceptional service.

Locations: Lafayette or Fort Wayne, Indiana

Primary responsibilities:

- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions and failures at job sites

- Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components to ensure that they meet company standards

- Prepare inspection and appraisal reports

- Completely understand the operation, function, specifications, capabilities and controls of any piece of rental equipment

- Complete all documents associated with repairs in an accurate and timely manner

- Adhere to the manager's and lead mechanic's directions regarding all repairs and service calls

- Adhere to all safety rules and maintain quality housekeeping in work area

Base salary, $65K - $75K, with overtime for working over forty hours, a 7% bonus, and an additional 5% team bonus. A company vehicle is provided.
