We are seeking a seasoned Senior CNC Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure the seamless operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities in Franklin, MA. Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
What you'll be doing:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and related manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair CNC electro-mechanical tools and subsystems, including barfeeders, high-pressure systems, chip conveyors, and coolant systems.
- Utilize predictive maintenance systems and real-time data analytics to identify and resolve machine failures.
- Complete work orders with minimal supervision.
- Lead 6S initiatives and promote a safe, clean working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve maintenance issues.
- Provide daily updates on work progress and status.
What you will need to be considered:
- High School Diploma required.
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, including plumbing, hydraulics, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- 5+ years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems on CNC equipment, including programming and operating the equipment for verification of maintenance/repairs.
- Experience with CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, and Mazatrol, and with PLCs and servo drives troubleshooting/repair.
- Familiarity with CNC manufacturers like Index, DMG Mori, Mazak, KERN, Tsugami, EuroTech, Rofin, Fanuc EDM, Maier, and Citizen.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, performance specifications, and operating requirements (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, ladder logic).
- Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and operate a forklift.
- MS Office skills and ability to write detailed repair reports.
- Ballbar testing and analysis experience preferred.
- Ability to work overtime, respond to facility emergencies.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in inclement weather, and climb ladders.
- Driving on company business required, must maintain a valid driver's license.
