Are you ready to take on an exciting leadership role in an international business setting? We have an incredible opportunity for you as a Deputy Program Manager in Baghdad, Iraq and the largest US Embassy in the world.

This organization is a veteran owned business with their global headquarters located in Maryville, TN. Established in 2006, they specialize in horizontal and vertical construction, contingency operations, training, military munitions response (MMR) and environmental services, and global stability operations. They provide quality services across the Americas, INDO-PACOM, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia.

The Program Manager will serve the VMSS task order in support of the U.S. Department of State (DOS), and manage the operation of the task order, and is the focal point for task order functions and personnel.

The PM will ensure that the quality of work meets or exceeds customer standards, and the services are provided in a timely manner. The PM will effectively communicate relevant project information to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

The Program Manager shall have the authority to commit the contractor's financial resources, and act as the single point of contact with the USG on site, as required to meet the overall requirements of the VMSS task order. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

Duties:

- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace

- Ensures compliance with all environmental and safety and quality assurance requirements and goals

- Responsible for managing, monitoring, and tracking VMSS services

- Acts as the contractor's representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met

- Has primary responsibility for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs

- Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements

- Plan and manage service schedules, quality assurance, and safety programs

- Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from VMSS staff and USG representatives

The client is looking for strong leaders with experience managing fleet maintenance in the military, air support and ground vehicles. The candidate will have roughly 100 direct reports.

$195K - $200K with additional compensation benefits bringing total comp closer to $250K. Full benefits, a 401k plan, and living and food provided through embassy, and travel home will be covered.
