Large utility is looking for a Scheduler in Lansing, MI. This position will coordinate and support daily operational tasks, including scheduling, communication, data monitoring, and emergent issue management, to ensure efficient business processes and workflow execution. responsibilities:

• Assist in executing daily work plans, including organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, and short-range forecasting.

• Communicate effectively in accordance with business unit processes and procedures, interacting with supervision, field operations, and other operational support groups.

• Utilize various systems to monitor work, create and submit orders and requests, observe data, and make necessary scheduling adjustments.

• Support emergent matters, including escalations, volume monitoring, and other urgent tasks, following business unit processes and procedures.

• Perform business unit-specific tasks such as generating reports, identifying training opportunities, creating standards, and taking appropriate actions.

Skills:

• Ability to work effectively in urgent situations.

• Communication skills.

• Skilled in organization and time management.

• Ability to think and work independently.

Education:

• High School Diploma Required.

• Experience with scheduling or related work.
