Sr Manager of Credit and Accounts Receivable - Military Veterans

BASIC PURPOSE: Leader of the credit and collection functions for the Love’s Family of Companies
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for creating a collaborative environment of continuous improvement for the Credit function
- Oversees day to day execution and adherence to credit policy through effective credit risk analysis and exposure management practices which facilitate sales, minimize bad debts and optimize accounts receivable turnover
- Directs risk reviews of new and existing customers to determine credit risk. Establish limits/terms based on appropriate levels of risk to assume. Approves credit or makes recommendations within delegated authorities
- Monitors control reports to ensure the effective management of customer exposures, adherence to contract terms and that appropriate and timely action is taken (e.g. cash forecast, red flag, OTC/FF, etc.)
- Negotiates and administers credit provisions of contracts and various other security related documents (e.g. guarantees, letters of credit, netting agreements, etc.)
- Responsible for maintaining allowance for bad debt across the Love’s Family of Companies
- Works with both internal and external business contacts in resolving credit and accounts receivable related issues
- Prepares and monitors department reports and metrics: monthly credit package, bad debt work papers, quarterly management book, monthly Musket meeting slides, bankruptcy and workout log, etc.
- Supervisory duties include overall team performance, staffing, goal setting, evaluations and development
- Other special projects/duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education:
- Business Bachelor’s Degree required
- MBA, and CCE a plus
- Experience:
- 5+ years commercial credit, experience in a wholesale fuel/trading environment preferred
- 5+ years experience leading a team

- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
