We are looking for a dedicated Facilities & Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Glendale, AZ. This role is crucial to supporting our Facilities Manager by ensuring the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of all company facilities. If you have experience in general maintenance, plumbing, and repair work, we encourage you to apply for this hands-on, fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Facilities & Maintenance Assistant, you will play an essential part in keeping our facilities running smoothly. Your duties will include performing minor repairs, handling basic plumbing tasks, and maintaining the cleanliness of the workplace. You will also assist with routine maintenance tasks and repairs, such as inspecting equipment, checking building systems, and addressing any issues that arise.

You will be responsible for overseeing the work of contracted vendors, ensuring they meet quality and timeliness standards. In addition, you will respond quickly to emergency repair requests and clean-ups to minimize disruptions. Other duties will be assigned as needed to ensure efficient facility operations, and you will be expected to attend safety meetings to maintain compliance with company safety protocols.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in general maintenance or a related field. A working knowledge of hand and power tools, cleaning equipment, and basic plumbing is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and a keen eye for detail.

In addition, you must be able to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks effectively. The ability to follow schedules and deadlines, while adhering to safety standards, is crucial. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also important, as you will work closely with both internal teams and external vendors.

Compensation:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage, ranging from $16 to $22 per hour, based on experience. We also provide comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off.
