This person works as a team to provide food service that is safe, accurate, timely and responsive to the customer and patient's needs. Food service includes stocking, assembling, and serving portion controlled hot and cold food, replenishing and stocking stations, and general sanitation duties. This person may work in one of the following areas within Nutrition & Food Services. Retail Food Service includes serving, cashiering, bussing, and barista duties. Patient Food Services includes assembly and delivery of patient meal trays. This position may be responsible for responsible for cash, credit card and debit card transactions. This person maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the foodservice areas and equipment. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer, patient, and staff interactions and is looked upon as the ambassador for the department of Nutrition and Food Services. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
