Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey has opening for Clinical Research Coordinator III within the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute, located in Piscataway, NJ. Clinical Research Coordinator III ( CRCIII ) position is to assist principal investigators with conducting human subjects clinical studies related to environmental, occupational, and public health.
Duties include:
- Recruits and consents study subjects both by telephone and in-person. Schedules study subjects. Maintains a record of subject participation. Occasional telephone coordination duties on weekends.
- Conducts study procedures (height and weight measurement, blood pressure, spirometry, EKG, and specialized testing).
- Collect and process biospecimens (blood, urine, exhaled breath condensate, oral rinse, sputum).
- Willing to learn phlebotomy
- Assist in sample management (recording the collection, storage, and retrieval of specimens).
- Maintains accurate study records using appropriate software (e.g., OnCore, REDCap, Excel)
