C2BMC is an IDIQ structured program comprised of multiple task orders responsible for the design, development, deployment, integration, testing, operations and sustainment of a software based Command/Control and Battle Management system. This system provides US Commanders around the globe essential situational awareness and is the integrating element central to the MDA’s missile defense missions. The MDA Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team and collaborates with multiple government agencies, contractors, universities, and other organizations to accomplish a diverse and broad reaching mission.
Who You Are
A successful candidate must understand and be dedicated to the C2BMC Mission including Missile and Space Defense. The successful candidate will need to utilize good communication skills and good organizational skills to facilitate collaboration across the many organizations necessary to accomplish challenging missions. The selected candidate will join a high performing team as a C2BMC Global Operations and Maintenance Engineering Manager supporting development for the MDA C2BMC-Global line of business. The selected candidate will be assigned to the C2BMC-G Portfolio.
The Work
This Global Operations and Maintenance Engineering Manager will be accountable to the OM&S Engineering Project Manager (EPM) for technical, cost, and schedule performance within the Global O&M Engineering Management Portfolio. This person will be primarily responsible for working with the EPM to ensure efficient engineering processes are being followed and adhered to in order to operate the C2BMC Global system effectively and efficiently on a 8x5 basis leading to the eventual transition to 24x7 operations. The EM will be responsible for managing dependencies between teams within the Global O&M Engineering Management Portfolio and will support the EPM in management of external dependencies elsewhere within the C2BMC enterprise. Additional Responsibilities of the position include:
• Identify and track all Risks and Opportunities
• Identify and track iteration events and releases as they relate to Operations
• Manage and report on team technical issues and resolutions
• Support the OM&S EPM in proposal development to include authoring and reviewing BOEs and Engineering Estimates
• In coordination with assigned Control Account Managers, produce ETC/EVM and other engineering metrics to identify and address all technical or staffing issues while managing cost/schedule
• Work with the OM&S EPM to provide timely and accurate projections of engineering resource requirements and identify staffing needs
• Ensure teams follow organizational processes
• Supports the EPM in managing and forecasting technical maturity, including when milestone maturity can be claimed and what OE is required to support such a claim.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
** Position must be full time at the MDIOC and the successful candidate must have current C2BMC Global SAP access. Internal to C2BMC National Team members only. **

Basic Qualifications:
• A final TS clearance needed prior to starting
• Strong C2BMC Global Operations and Maintenance Leadership experience
• Experience managing and delivering operations capability on a complex DoD systems
• Experience with Operations and Maintenance proposal preparation
• Understanding of Earned Value (SPI/CPI/TCPI)
• Experience with C2BMC and/or the Missile Defense System
Desired Skills:
• TS/SCI/SAP, and read into the C2BMC program is a plus
• Experience in liaising with other DoD Agencies and associated Missile Defense Systems operations/organizations
• Experience with U.S. Space Force, USSTRATCOM, or working within the space domain
• Strong presentation and speaking skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
