TMAS2 EW Training Manager 1189 - Military Veterans

Torch Technologies is seeking an EW Training Manager to join a team to assist the 388th Electronic Warfare Squadron (388 EWS), 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW) at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation.

Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly motivated individual.

The successful candidate will advise and assist with the development and delivery of specialized EW and EMSO training for on-boarding, initial, continuation, and upgrade training for 350 SWW personnel.

This role will also advise and assist training review boards, manage the 350 SWW's EW training syllabus in coordination with 350 SWW/DPT, AETC, and A2, and coordinate and track EW training and SWW-specific training for officer, enlisted, and civilian professional development.

The successful candidate may be required to travel.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

At least 12 years' of relevant experience.

The candidate must also have a demonstrated ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.

Applicants must have a working knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software.

The successful candidate will also possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.

A Top Secret Clearance is required, and the candidate must be eligible for SCI.

Significant experience and expertise with EW and EMSO is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of if the candidate doesn't possess a Bachelor's degree.

Experience as a military instructor is desired.

Highly desirable (but not required) attributes include operational EW experience on any CAF platform, preferably as an instructor. If not, experience in USAF operational employment of Airpower, or similar combat arms experience is suitable for the position.

Previous experience in RF integration, EM spectrum management, antenna design, and digital signal processing is desired; also desired is knowledge of EW weapons systems development, test and evaluation, and systems engineering.

Finally, experience with courseware development and Instructional Systems Design is preferred.
