A Sourcing Analyst is needed for a world leader in medical devices that seeks to offer innovative solutions in neurosurgery, and reconstructive and general surgery in the Princeton, NJ area. This job analyzes data, manages suppliers, and supports cost-effective, sustainable sourcing strategies.

salary: $33.99 - 47.48 per hour


work hours: 8am to 5pm


education: Bachelors


 


responsibilities:




  • Identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier performance issues using procurement data

  • Conduct research on potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing benchmarks.

  • Assist in supplier selection, performance evaluation, and relationship management.

  • Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures through negotiations, alternative sourcing, and process improvements.

  • Help negotiate supplier contracts, including terms, pricing, and service levels.

  • Ensure sourcing activities adhere to company policies and legal requirements.

  • Prepare and deliver reports on supplier performance, market trends, and sourcing activities.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., supply chain, finance, operations, and legal) to align sourcing strategies.


Qualifications:





  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.

  • Experience: 2-5 years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles.


Key Skills:





  • strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Power BI).

  • Understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with sourcing tools and technologies.


Preferred Skills:





  • Experience in strategic sourcing or category management.

  • Knowledge of supply chain sustainability practices.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).

  • Procurement certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
