About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure, but experience with other cloud platforms is also acceptable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient infrastructure on Azure and other cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Optimize system performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Expertise in Azure (experience with AWS or GCP is a plus).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of networking, security, and performance tuning.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Having certifications is mandatory, either the ones listed below or equivalent ones:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (if experience with AWS is considered)
- Certified Jenkins Engineer (CJE)
