Resource Maintenance Technician - 1st shift - Military Veterans

Pay rate: $29.64/hr



This future employee will be expected to work in a team environment, service in rotating departments is an essential function of the job. This role will include a broad variety of work and will require training in multiple duties. Sets up miscellaneous light, automatic assembly, and packing machines. Performs a variety of operations such as adjusting set-ups until parts and sub-assemblies meet prescribed specification; instructs operators in proper use of set-up; troubleshoots on machines; and makes necessary adjustments and replacement of tools to keep machines in operation.



Key Responsibilities





  • Operate assembly machines and equipment. Make up unit and multiple pack cartons, pack assemblies as prescribed, seal and label cartons.


  • Will be required to perform work per print, process documentation, parts lists, maintenance manuals, engineering documentation or engineering instruction.


  • Perform functional tests, such as visual, mechanical and electrical checks on parts, sub-assemblies and devices. Check quality of parts being run using a variety of gages and other measuring equipment, and stop production due to defects.


  • Make sure measurement instruments being used are properly calibrated.


  • May work to periodically maintain proper lubrication for a wide variety of machine tools and equipment, located in various departments. Oil and clean machines change oil and change or add coolant cutting oil to machines


  • Rework parts and assist with product problem solving. Gather data for continuous improvement.


  • Work in a team environment which may include: Learning and using team skills, training other team members, identifying bottlenecks and work-arounds. Will be required to attend communications meetings. May be asked to give customer/supplier tours and perform safety tours. Be responsible for actions log.


  • Use various systems to order and replenish materials and supplies. Make move orders as necessary.


  • Perform changeover duties and machine start up/shut down procedure. Load/unload parts. Complete operator performed minor maintenance duties and checklists (as appropriate).


  • Sets-up, operates, maintain through use of various materials, epoxy and fluids, and troubleshoots a variety of assembly equipment. Required to work within skill level for maximum uptime.


  • Perform basic adjustments and upkeep/cleanliness following standard operating procedures (SOP) to support reliability efforts and to keep equipment running.


  • Work assembly workstation within training guidelines, following standard work, and maintaining line rate.


  • Various site non licenses facilities support actions including painting, millwrights, and carpentry.




The annual base salary range for this position is <$29.64/hr>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
