Summary:



Tetra Tech is looking for Inland Port expert technical support for inland waterway port design.



Your Role:



Successful candidate to provide consulting services regarding inland port design for river barge facilities along navigable water ways. Successful candidate will:





  • Provide engineering and consulting recommendations for design considerations for inland ports.


  • Provide permitting consulting for inland ports.


  • Provide logistical considerations for inland ports.


  • Attend client meetings.


  • Attend site meetings, as necessary.






Qualifications:



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.





  • 20+ years of experience at inland ports.


  • Professional Engineer preferred.


  • Able to conduct site reconnaissance in various terrains.


  • A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.


  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
