Pay: $25-$28 per hour (DOE)
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team! This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with our Legal Department, supporting corporate paralegal/management on tasks ranging from document organization to real estate portfolio management for new and existing sites.
Key Responsibilities
Manage electronic and physical filing systems, including indexing inactive files for storage.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, processing documents, agreements, and legal invoices.
Coordinate schedules, calendars, meetings, and conference calls.
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive and proprietary information.
Develop and manage databases for contracts, reports, and legal records to ensure compliance.
Track and manage critical deadlines for contracts, reports, and legal projects.
Draft routine legal documents under attorney supervision (e.g., real estate documents, contracts, insurance certificates).
Assist with real estate portfolio processes, including lease renewals, amendments, and reports.
Update and maintain legal and real estate reports on a weekly basis.
Collaborate with internal teams and outside counsel for documentation and project needs.
Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: 0-3 years in a legal assistant role or legal/corporate office setting.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and tasks.
Comfortable interacting with senior management and acting as a department liaison.
