Senior Financial Analyst

The Opportunity 

This position is will play a key role in business partnering and decision support for the Global Ingredients North America commercial function with responsibilities including CPP analysis, commercial planning support and analyzing and preparing weekly and monthly financial reports. This permanent position will report to the Finance Manager.

- Oversee and develop the Commercial Cheese Finance Team

- Responsible for preparing various weekly and monthly reports as assigned

- Drive planning process, including model modification, updating, and analysis, as assigned

- Oversee monthly CPP (customer & product profitability) process, analysis, and reporting as assigned

- Responsible for process improvement and standardization in assigned area

- Responsible for month end closing tasks and reporting

- Set the directions for project analysis and development

- Prepare cash forecasts, including analysis and reporting

- Analyze customer credit limit requirements and prepare limit adjustment business cases 

The Skills you will bring to the team 

- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance and at least 2-3 years related experience

- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

- Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.

- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill

- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.

- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources

- Ability to prioritize tasks
