Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Project Manager.

In this role, the successful candidate Reporting to NYU Langone Health's Director - Interiors, the Senior Project Manager - Furniture Specialist will work to create and maintain the NYULH design aesthetic across all areas of the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee the furniture selection, procurement and installation process on both capital and facilities related projects at NYULH. This includes organizing quotes, updating reports, field surveys and coordination of installation with furniture vendor and end users.
    • Oversee the work of interior furniture vendors.
    • Responsibility for overseeing select in-house interior furniture projects, including the selection, presentation and specification of interior furniture and finishes.
    • Provide furniture budgets for all capital projects.
    • Assist with updating relevant interior design sections of the RED+F Design Guidelines.
    • Work collaboratively with the NYULH ergonomics team, Sourcing Department and Project Support Office as it relates to furniture selection and procurement.
    • Keep up to date on the introduction of new and improved furniture and finishes in the healthcare industry.
    • Utilize software programs such as Unifier, Build Flow, Aware Manager, Maintenance Connection, PeopleSoft, etc. to manage furniture procurement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
  • Advanced degree in Business, Planning & Design, Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture a plus
  • 7+ years work experience in project management required, at least 3 years of which should include management of multiple and/or highly complex projects
  • 2+ years managerial experience required (directly supervising one or more staff on multiple projects)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in Interior Healthcare Design and/or Furniture Procurement preferred
  • Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, Interior Design, or Architecture preferred
  • Masters in Architecture preferred
  • Certification in ASID IIDA, NCIDQ preferred
  • Knowledgeable in MS office, Power point, Photoshop, Autocad, Bluebeam Revu, Revit preferred.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $117,107.95 - $142,282.14 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
