Job Summary
Leads Process Engineering, Maintenance, and local Information Technology for Micro Fulfillment. Directs and provides leadership to managers of local maintenance and IT support teams. Creates standardized processes and creates a culture that is quality focused and cost conscious.
Job Responsibilities
- Enables strong performance of Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFC) by creating a highly reliable maintenance culture that is standardized across all sites.
- Establishes operational objectives for managers and or teams to achieve the strategic and operational objectives of MFC. Executes on the functional and business goals for MFC.
- Provides direction and oversight of key technology systems and support activities.
- Works with key stakeholders to formulate a comprehensive technology maintenance plan thats consistent with the overall business objectives and budgetary considerations.
- Applies broad knowledge of technical maintenance capabilities and environments to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product service opportunities.
- Recommends information technology and maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes identifying problems evaluating trends anticipating requirements.
- Implements policies and defines approach to strategy achievement. Analyzes long term impact of new or anticipated strategies and decisions.
- Manages budgets, operational plans and performance requirements for equipment maintenance, hardware and software fees. Responsible for meeting budgetary goals and objectives.
- Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors, and other resources within and outside of the organization. Shares highly complex information related to areas of expertise. Interacts with senior management to keep abreast of objectives. Interacts with direct reports and peers in management customers vendors to interpret information and improve cross functional processes and programs. Builds and enhances key internal and external contacts.
- May establish and manage a broad range of internal external relationships for the support of Micro Fulfillment.
- Develops and mentors staff through on boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes builds and maintains employee morale and motivation ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Develop a continuous improvement ethic by following a daily process that is data driven and focused on root cause elimination.
- Leads preventative maintenance schedules and spare parts inventory of complex equipment.
- Ensure consistency on the management of the overall site health, reliability, and life cycle management for all of the site commodities (material handling equipment, lighting, power distribution, backup generators, fire suppression and notification systems, robots, conveyors, packing machines, sorters, dock doors, HVAC, etc.)

Basic Qualifications
- Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community and with vendors.
- Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Experience managing cross functional and or matrix teams.
- Experience communicating with and influencing senior leaders.
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and or cross functional team leadership.
- Willing to travel up to at least 50 % of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with budgets up to $25M with oversight of both program budgets and operational budgets.
- Experience in Information Technology
- Experience in Maintenance Management
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)s
- Experience working with Agile ways of working
