Position Specific Description
A skilled and experienced Senior IT Full Stack Programmer with a strong background in AI will join our dynamic AI & Innovation team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for AI, a deep understanding of full stack development, and the ability to design, develop, and deploy sophisticated software solutions that enhance business processes and support strategic initiatives.
- Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust web and mobile applications using front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- AI Integration: Implement AI and machine learning models into existing and new applications to drive intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making.
- Software Architecture: Design and build scalable, secure, and efficient software architectures that support the company's AI initiatives and business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver AI-enhanced software solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Statistical Analysis: Strong foundation in statistics and probability to understand and apply various statistical methods to data and model performance
- Code Quality: Ensure high standards of code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices in software development.
- Project Management: Lead and manage complex development projects from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business needs.
- Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in full stack development and AI, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the team.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, implementing improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in full stack development with a proven track record of implementing AI solutions in real-world applications.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular. Strong back-end development skills in languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- AI/ML Expertise: Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and scikit-learn. Deep understanding of various generative models such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), and language models like GPT. Expertise in NLP tasks such as text generation, sentiment analysis, language translation, and named entity recognition. Proficiency in generating images using models like StyleGAN, CycleGAN, and DALL-E, and understanding image processing techniques.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Curiosity & Innovation: A curious mindset with a passion for learning and exploring new technologies and approaches to continuously drive innovation.
- Education: Master's degree is preferred.
- Research Skills: Ability and drive to stay updated with the latest research papers, trends, and advancements in AI and machine learning
- Innovation Thirst: A passion and strength in unearthing innovation opportunities and experimentation with new approaches, tools, and methods to improve existing solutions.
Job Overview
This position writes and tests software to aid in development and support of products. Individuals in this role work with Technical Leads on software system architecture and service design and typically leads a module in the system. This position participates in required product development process ceremonies. Employees in this role are responsible for writing and refining technical requirements and technical design documentation.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Codes in multiple languages in support of software products and the development of software products
- Conducts system testing and codes unit tests and support features
- Documents technical requirement and other technical documentation
- Works with product team to refine product requirements
- Collaborates on high level software design projects and software system architecture and creates effective component level architectures
- Leads software module construction from architecture and design to implementation and may lead a small team of engineers in building the module
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
