We have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Manager, to join a great client's team! In this role, you will provide technical and administrative leadership to a diverse group of Engineers, Designers, and Technicians.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing engineering projects aimed at enhancing the product portfolio, driving ongoing product and process improvements, addressing field performance issues, achieving margin enhancements, strengthening market positioning, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Candidates mast have three years of management or supervisory experience, as well as a background in product design or new product development. Candidates must have experience in boiler and/or heat pump design, or HVAC system design and implementation.

responsibilities:
- Manage training programs for engineers, designers, and support staff to meet technical skill requirements.
- Ensure the Engineering team follows proper processes and pursues continuous improvement.
- Handle recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations, and salary adjustments for the department.
- Provide training and career guidance to employees.
- Communicate customer needs clearly to the Engineering team and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to deliver satisfactory service.
- Lead new product development by managing research to solve problems and improve or create products and systems.
- Oversee complex engineering projects, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and preparing reports with recommendations.
- Estimate costs and resources for annual development goals and track project performance.
- Collaborate with management and marketing to assess the feasibility and demand for products.
- Participate in codes and standards committees and delegate relevant tasks to the Engineering team.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deadlines.
- Guide project teams in overcoming challenges related to performance and deliverables.
- Maintain regular communication with the Engineering team to achieve daily goals and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering discipline required from an accredited university
- Minimum 3-5 years management or supervisory experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in product design or new product development
- Must have experience in boiler and/or heat pump design, or HVAC system design and implementation
- Proficient technical skills
- Demonstrated sound decision-making skills
