Job Summary and Qualifications

SDET will work closely with developers, project managers and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. Should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology.  

In this role you will:

• Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives 
• Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases 
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function 
• Execute and analyze automation test results. 
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution 
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate 
• Support production deployment of applications and perform “validation testing” during the off-hours maintenance windows 
• Database skills, mainly in SQL Server 
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously 
• Skill in managing and tracking multiple user case stories on Kanban boards within platforms like Azure DevOps, ensuring timely status updates. 
• Proficiency in using tools such as SQL Management Studio, Azure DevOps Test Plans, and configuration files to design and validate test workflows. 
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to resolve application issues efficiently. 
• Proficiency in SQL for collecting and modifying test data accurately within Microsoft SQL Server. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred  
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst 
• Automated Testing is preferred
• Experience with Agile and SQL preferred
