CE Funeral Director Instructor - Military Veterans

The Continuing Education Funeral Director Instructor is responsible for delivering educational programs and training for funeral service professionals. This role involves creating and updating course materials, conducting classes, and ensuring that the curriculum meets industry standards and regulatory requirements. The instructor will play a key role in advancing the skills and knowledge of funeral directors and ensuring their compliance with continuing education requirements.
- Design and develop curriculum and instructional materials for continuing education courses for funeral directors.
- Conduct in-person and/or online classes, workshops, and seminars on topics related to funeral service, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, grief counseling, and funeral service best practices.
- Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Ensure that all educational programs comply with state and national regulations and industry standards.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting funeral services and integrate these into the curriculum as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and course completions.
- Prepare and submit reports as required by the educational institution or regulatory bodies.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Bachelor?s degree in Funeral Service, Mortuary Science, Education, or a related field. Master?s degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications as a funeral director or instructor. Continuing education or professional development certifications are a plus.
