Summary:
This is an entry level position for production; Marion is a LAP Facility Load, Assemble and Pack. The ability to maintain a constant, quick, pace on an assembly line is required. Visual inspection skills are needed to spot imperfections in a finished, assembled, part.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to work all shifts and overtime, as required
- Package finished products and prepare for shipment.
- Performs assembly line tasks in a manufacturing setting.
- Ensure the production line runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Inspecting assembled products to verify they meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
- Inspecting product for any defects and flaws.
- Previous background in assembly and pack is a plus.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
OR
Equivalent combination of educaiton and/or experience
- Production experience (assembly and pack) is preferred
- Mechanical expierence preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervision and fellow employees
- Must have the ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety signs and instructions
- Must be able to perform basic math
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Pre-employment background and medical screening will be required if selected for hire.
- Must be able to work all shifts and overtime, as required
