Employment Type: Permanent Faculty Vacancy ID: FAC0005372 Salary Range: Dependent on Qualifications Position Summary/Description: The Department of Epidemiology, Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is recruiting one full-time tenure-track faculty at the rank of assistant professor focused on cardiovascular disease epidemiology. Outstanding candidates will have expertise in the epidemiology, biology, etiology, prevention, and impact of cardiovascular disease or its risk factors. Other areas of interest include clinical epidemiology, outcomes research, and implementation science as applied to cardiovascular disease. UNC Department of Epidemiology faculty are expected to develop and maintain an independently funded research portfolios, serve as academic advisors to doctoral and masters epidemiology students, and contribute to classroom teaching in their discipline (e.g. cardiovascular disease epidemiology).
