AVP, Global Technology Communications - Military Veterans

As a part of Chubb's Global Communications and Marketing team, the AVP, Global Technology Communications is responsible for helping to develop and execute the Chubb Technology organization's strategic communications strategy across all key stakeholder groups.
This role develops, leads, and executes campaigns and initiatives both internal (80-90%) and external (10-20%) across the enterprise. It reports to the SVP, Employee Communications while working directly with the Chief Technology Officer, and leadership, our engineering centers across the world, our Recruiting team, and aligned functions.
We are seeking a strategic communicator with demonstrated high-quality writing, executive presence and project management expertise, relationship building skills, and ability to working successfully across a highly matrixed, globally dispersed, and diverse organization.
This role operates out of our Jersey City, NJ and New York, NY offices.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create, execute, and iterate a comprehensive communications plan to support the CTO and inform and inspire Chubb's technologists to help our businesses serve clients and drive growth.
- Create, drive, and manage communications campaigns and programs to support the performance and growth of Chubb's Technology organization.
- Executive-produce town halls, videos, newsletters, and other deliverables.
- Monitor and evaluate overall effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the VP, Transformation Change Management Communications and the AVP, Global Operations Communications to ensure alignment across audiences and effective outcomes across Technology, Transformation and Operations
- Help to ensure that global policies and processes are followed, including cybersecurity policies and communications.
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of how to distill technology and digital messages for audiences ranging from digitally savvy to not digitally adept.
- 10+ years' experience in global communications with previous position(s) held at Fortune 500 and/or major financial services or technology company, ideally with B2B and B2C focus.
- Bachelor's degree in communications or public relations
- Combination of technical knowledge and an ability to operate at both the executive level and with engineers and other technologists in all corners of the firm, across cultures and time zones.
- Adaptive technology communications professional with significant experience in internal communications
- Strong and pragmatic approach to getting things accomplished - on time and within budget, with a deep understanding of aligning communications to generating new business and growing top and bottom lines.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives from inception through successful execution.
- Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to write for a variety of audiences across multiple communication channels/formats/vehicles - print, online, broadcast, social, infographics, surveys.
